Billie Eilish shows chest tattoo for the first time

 

Billie Eilish officially unveiled her secret chest tattoo this morning. Well, sort of. What actually happened was that her friend Annabel Zimmer, who just so happens to be Hans Zimmer's daughter, uploaded a series of photos to Instagram, one of which showed Billie relaxing outside while wearing a string bikini top from Miaou. The cut of the bikini also makes Billie's name tattoo on her chest visible.

Rolling Stone earlier said that the tattoo was done after she won five Grammy Awards in 2020 and that it was written in a "ornate, gothic font."

Billie has a number of tattoos, including a dragon snaking up her thigh that she initially showed off in a 2021 photo shoot for British Vogue and then in a more recent Instagram video. 

She also has a number of fairies tattooed on her hand; in a recent Instagram post, she referred to these as her "favourite."

She cited one of her most recent creations, "my sweet little guardian angel fairies, from my favourite childhood book."  

Billie responded to criticism from followers last month on her change in wardrobe from baggy to more revealing clothing.

When asked if she plans to get more tattoos in the future, Billie stated, "No, I'm not going to be all tatted up, but I have some more ideas." Right now, I'm rather content. I'm in a good place with them."

Let's wait and see what happens! Especially considering she followed up with, "Give me a little more time, and then I'll get another one."

Despite the fact that Eilish now has three tattoos, don't expect her to show off complete sleeves anytime soon.

"No, I'm not going to get tattooed, but I have some more ideas." Right now, I'm rather content. "I feel like I'm in a good zone with them," she told Vanity Fair in 2021, adding that her mum "hates" tattoos.

"Give me a little more time," she assured, "and then I'll get another one."
